About Afriwood Free Filmmaking Project

Afriwood Free Filmmaking Project is created to support, educate and equip African aspiring actors and filmmakers professionally in a conducive open environment or class room.


 

It is designed to be one of best training project for young aspiring actors and filmmakers who cannot afford the money for film schools, to come together from all over African countries to learn and obtain legit certificate for any of the FILM program received and accomplished.

The Free Filmmaking Project will be graduating at least 1000 students in acting and filmmaking next year 2021.


 

It is also designed to operate as a weekend program which is only on fridays and Saturdays for a year to enable the working individuals and students fit into the program.


 

The program is set to kick off by February 2021 in Imo State Nigeria, West Africa. Without no delay, the initiative is working hard to make sure registration and admission into the filmmaking training is successful.


 

Our mission is to bring unprivileged aspiring African actors and filmmakers together to obtain professional filmmaking training through our certified pro filmmakers in and outside the country.


 

Knowing fully well the challenges in paying big amount of money to study filmmaking in Africa, the initiative has created a favourable platform to obtain free education and training.
